August 18, 2020 — Just in time to start debating costumes with your family and friends, Northern California’s Anderson Valley Brewing Company (AVBC) announced the return of the popular Fall Hornin’ Pumpkin Ale.

“It really depends on what my daughter wants to dress up as – we tend to all go as a theme,” said Kevin McGee, President and CEO. McGee explained “She was Princess Leia one year and I got to be a Jedi, so that one worked out well but this year is up in the air a bit. She’s really into Marvel Universe characters now but my wife and I are feeling ‘Plague Doctor’ might be more topical so we have some thinking to do.” McGee continued “It’s going to take a few Fall Hornin’s to figure it all out.”

Fall Hornin’ is available on draft and sold in 6-packs of 12-ounce cans and is available nationally through select retailers.

Known for capturing the essence of autumn with classic spices and a smooth finish, Fall Hornin’ is a go-to beer to savor the fall season and continues to be one of Anderson Valley Brewing Company’s most popular and anticipated seasonal beers. Striving to craft beers that become a part of traditions and celebrations, AVBC brews Fall Hornin’ to bring flavors that meet the sense of the season and deliver quintessential fall flavors in a complex, brilliant beer. Best yet, Fall Hornin’ pairs perfectly with seasonal cuisine and spirited discussions of costuming.

Fall Hornin’ (AVB 6%): With a deep copper hue and creamy beige-colored head, Fall Hornin’ Pumpkin Ale has inviting aromas of caramelized malt and baking bread with highlights of cinnamon, nutmeg, pumpkin and seasonal spices. The pleasantly creamy mouthfeel and silky body embrace the sweet caramel flavors and tang of spices (with just a hint of hops) that ends in a smooth, round finish.

Fall Hornin is available at fine purveyors of quality beer throughout the US. For information on Anderson Valley Brewing Company’s distribution visit, https://avbc.com/find-our-beer/

These strategic partnerships aim to expand and strengthen AVBC’s presence throughout AVBC’s core Northern California markets.

As part of AVBC’s renewed focus on its home markets, effective May 1 the brewery forged a new partnership with Eagle Distributing to manage AVBC in Mendocino and Lake counties and has partnered with family-owned Mussetter Distributing to represent its brands from Sacramento east to the Tahoe region. Morris Distributing, who has long been representing AVBC in Sonoma and Napa counties, will now be taking on Marin County. Finally, Wine Warehouse, who represents AVBC throughout the Southern half of California, is now representing AVBC in the key markets of San Mateo and San Francisco counties.

“The repositioning of our distributor partnerships is a key initiative in strengthening AVBC in some of our most important California markets. We are pleased with how these changes position the brewery and we’ve already realized material improvements in a very short time,” said President and CEO Kevin McGee. “These new and expanded partnerships strengthen our market presence and have enabled us to re-establish and grow our retail and on-premise relationships in what we consider to be our home markets in Northern California.”

Boonville, Calif., March 4 , 2020–Unlike any other beer on the market, Anderson Valley Brewing Company’s Tropical Hazy Sour Ale is an absurdly delicious, lightly tart and tropical flavored hazy beer.

Using the spring season in Northern California’s Anderson Valley as the inspiration to create this unique beer. AVBC’s goal was to craft a beer with full flavor and character, yet still light and refreshing enough to enjoy while being active outside and with friends.

Tropical Hazy Sour is brewed to be pleasingly tart and refreshing using a traditional kettle souring method, similar to AVBC’s renowned and award-winning Gose series of beers.

Tropical flavors are introduced in the fermentation process through the use of real guava and passionfruit. Finally, the AVBC brewing team found that leaving the beer hazy resulted in a more aromatic beer and added to the overall balance of the beverage.

Through an enormous exercise of skill and wit, the brewery kept the beer low-calorie and low-carb– as a bonus. The active, outdoor lifestyle folks out there have something new and meaningful to sweat for.

Tropical. Hazy. Sour. Springtime in a glass and only 125 calories.

ABV: 4.3%

Calories: 125

Carbs: 9g
