ASHEVILLE, NC— Thirsty Monk proudly welcomes Paul Friedheim, a graduate of Appalachian State Fermentation Sciences Program and former brewer at Devil’s Backbone Brewing, to run their brewing operations in North Carolina.

“I look forward to mastering the already great flagship beers Thirsty Monk has been making for years as well as creating new tasty brews for the people of Asheville to enjoy,” says Paul Friedheim, lead brewer at Thirsty Monk in Asheville.

Friedheim will set up shop at Thirsty Monk’s newest concept, 2×4 Brew Pub in Gerber Village, located off Hendersonville Rd in South Asheville. This taproom pays homage to sister company Compact Cottages, a builder of affordable housing in Western North Carolina. CEO Barry Bialik leads both companies and is also chair of Asheville’s Affordable Housing Advisory Committee.

“Our purpose at Compact Cottages is to build homes that Thirsty Monk wage level employees can actually afford in Asheville. If we can’t do that, then something is out of balance,” says Bialik.

For the renowned operator of Thirsty Monk, this location will be the best spot to check out what the North Carolina brewery is working on. The Gerber Village location is open Wednesday through Saturday from 4 to 9 p.m. with rotating beers and similar food offerings to its Downtown Asheville counterpart— including expertly-paired food flights, house-made hand pies, pints of candied bacon, pretzels and much more.

“Our new 2×4 Brew Pub is a playful bridge between our beer and house building worlds,” says Bialik. “2×4 Brew Pub has a library of small house design books, affordable housing resources, information about reasonably priced homes in Asheville, and some fun 2×4-themed items to entertain yourself while you are sipping our beers—from Giant Jenga outside to building blocks inside.”

For more information about Thirsty Monk’s newest endeavor 2×4 Brew Pub, contact Chea Franz at chea@radcraftbeer.com.

LONE TREE, CO— Lone Tree Brewing Company welcomes back seasonal favorites for the cooler weather ahead. Pumpkin Ale, Pilsner and Cranberry Saison will be available on draft and in cans later this month. Vanilla Caramel Amber, an autumnal beer that first made its debut two years ago, will also be ready for beer drinkers just in time for Labor Day festivities, and Festbier, a traditional Oktoberfest festival beer will delight taste buds on September 14.

“Our lineup of fall beer releases provide a subtle twist on familiar flavors for the season,” says Dennis Stack, director of sales and marketing at Lone Tree Brewing Company. “These beers, which are meant to be shared across the table with friends and family, are excellent pairings for fall favorites like pumpkin pie and pot roast”

At 6.4 percent ABV, Pumpkin Ale hits all the right notes for pumpkin beer lovers with 23 pounds of real pumpkin added per barrel as well as allspice, vanilla, nutmeg and cinnamon. Pumpkin Brew will be available mid-August.

Coming out of Lone Tree’s Branching Out series of small-batch, specialty beers and hitting cans for the first time, Cranberry Saison is a Belgian-style farmhouse ale that was aged with fresh cranberry puree. Effervescent and slightly tart, this deceivingly drinkable 8.5 percent ABV beer is perfect for sipping, long past the dog days of summer and into autumn at the Thanksgiving table. Cranberry Saison will be available at the end of August.

A classic through and through, Lone Tree’s Pilsner has a bright, golden appearance and finishes with a dry and fruity hop note. At 5.8 percent ABV, German-style Pilsner will also be available at the end of August.

“Vanilla Caramel is a fan favorite that will be available for fall and winter,” says Stack. “You’ll still enjoy this amber as we transition from the warmer weather that can be typical of Colorado but the sweet vanilla notes will provide an inviting comfort for cooler nights ahead.”

Originally developed on John Winter’s homebrew system, Vanilla Caramel Amber is a 6 percent ABV gem created with crystal malt and Madagascar vanilla beans. The caramel notes in Vanilla Caramel Amber come from a large amount of Crystal 60 malt in the grain bill— no other caramel or other sugar is added to this beer. The base beer is a traditional American Amber with a good helping of hops to balance out the sweetness of the vanilla. Vanilla Caramel Amber will be available in canned 6-packs and on draft starting on Labor Day.

Lone Tree will be tapping Festbier, a full-bodied traditional golden Oktoberfest lager that is crisp and refreshing. This highly drinkable 6.3 percent ABV beer will be available on September 14 in conjunction with Lone Tree’s annual Oktoberfest and Market featuring over 16 local vendors, live polka music and a stein hoisting contest.

Lone Tree Brewing’s fall seasonals will be available on draft and in 6-packs at Lone Tree’s taproom, as well as within the brewery’s distribution footprint.

SAN DIEGO, CA— The queen has returned… this time in bottles! Karl Strauss Brewing Company is re-releasing its highly coveted Barrel Aged Queen of Tarts Dark Sour Ale beginning on September 12th for a limited time. It will be available on draft, and for the first time ever it will also be packaged in 500 mL bottles.

“We are really proud to package Queen of Tarts. People have been asking for this for a long time, and we’re thrilled to be able to meet the demand for this fan-favorite sour ale. Don’t wait around, because it’ll go fast!” says Matt Johnson, Brewmaster of Brewery Operations.

Queen of Tarts is one of the most anticipated small-batch beer releases of the year for Karl Strauss. This Great American Beer Festival® award winner, which received a gold medal in the American-Style Sour Ale category, is aged on Michigan-grown tart cherries in first-generation red wine barrels. Flavors of French oak, tart cherry, and lightly roasted malts are backed by a lively finish.

“Crack open a fresh bottle and you’ll notice a ton of cherry aroma up front, with a slight oaky flavor and a clean, lactic sourness. But these bottles will also cellar really nicely. Expect that cherry flavor to become a little more subdued and the lactic sourness to round out. I am really looking forward to trying this batch of Queen again in a few years!” says Sean Albrecht, Head Brewer.

Queen of Tarts will be available on draft and in 500mL bottles beginning on September 12th for a limited time at Karl Strauss’ Tasting Room and Brewpubs.

PONCHA SPRINGS, CO— Elevation Beer Company, the official brewery of Monarch Mountain, will help the mountain celebrate 80 years of independence in the Arkansas Valley this season with the specialty release of Monarch Throwback. This Red Ale will be available on draft and in 12-ounce cans at Monarch Mountain and Elevation’s tasting room beginning September 9th and available across Colorado beginning September 16th.

Powered by independence, precipitation, and their local community, Monarch Mountain and Elevation decided to brew a crowd-pleasing, easy-drinking Red Ale to commemorate the Mountain’s 80th anniversary.

Red Ale is a true throwback— a classic beer brewed true to style! Crystal malts and Munich malt provide a strong malt character that is perfectly balanced with a touch of Magnum hops. Weighing in at 5% alcohol by volume, you can definitely throw back a few of these at lunch and still get some afternoon runs in.

For more information about Elevation Beer Company’s seven years in business and their anniversary beer, contact Emily Hutto at coop@radcraftbeer.com.

EAGLE, CO — Bonfire Brewing continues their newly introduced Community Creator Series with the planned releases of Gyptoberfest Märzen Lager, GrapepHruit Kettle Sour Grapefruit IPA, and Sugar Speed Caramel Milk Stout. The three beers follow the limited series release of Après-Berry Strawberry Blonde Ale and will be available first at the Bonfire taproom in downtown Eagle, followed by limited availability state-wide as mountain temperatures begin to drop.

Gyptoberfest is brewed annually to help support the town of Gypsum’s Oktoberfest and has become a local favorite. It’s a traditional Märzen Lager, brewed with German-style Augustiner yeast with a malt-forward profile.

GrapepHruit is an American IPA kettle-soured with lactobacillus. Generous amounts of Summit, Citra, and Simcoe hops seamlessly intertwine with the juicy Grapefruit puree added near the completion of fermentation.

Sugar Speed is a tasting room favorite originally brewed last fall in honor of the original Bonfire Brew Dog, Sugar. She had one speed, and it was the one that co-founder Andy Jessen walked her at. A little too fast for most, a bit too slow if you took her for a run, but always right there with him.

Sugar Speed is brewed with both caramel malts and roasted barley providing a smooth toffee flavor with a moderate amount of roast to balance the milk stout sweetness of the lactose (milk sugar) added to the boil. A kiss of caramel, vanilla and sea salt are added during secondary fermentation to lend a caramel sweetness on the palate with a slight salt aftertaste.

Fueled by the inspiration of their community and the power of an automated labeler, Bonfire began brewing, packaging and distributing a line of limited-release beers as part of their new Community Creator Series. The series began earlier this year with the releases of Après-Cot Apricot Blonde Ale, Pink-I Raspberry IPA, and Après-Berry Strawberry Blonde Ale.

Following Gyptoberfest, GrapepHruit, and Sugar Speed, Bonfire plans to continue the series with more interesting one-offs, local favorites and perhaps the resurrection of previously discontinued beers.

In addition to the Community Creator Series, Bonfire plans to release the very popular Rope Drop Hazy IPA for its second year with availability in cans and on draft throughout the fall and winter.

Look for Gyptoberfest, GrapepHruit, and Sugar Speed in 6 packs of 12 oz. cans at Bonfire’s tasting room and select local accounts soon, with limited statewide shipments throughout the Fall.

For more information about Bonfire Brewing or the Community Creator series, contact Emily Hutto at coop@radcraftbeer.com.

COLORADO SPRINGS, CO— After months of meticulous planning and careful deliberation, WeldWerks Brewing Co. will begin renovations for their second location west of Downtown Colorado Springs in Old Colorado City. The WeldWerks team will break ground on the former site of The Dive diner (3043 W. Pikes Peak Ave., Colorado Springs, CO 80904) in early September with a tentative grand opening date slated for October.

“Anyone who has seen The Dive understands that it will be a full rehab but we will be basically keeping the same structure with new skin,” says Colin Jones, co-founder and CEO at WeldWerks. “We came up with some pretty out-there designs but ultimately, we elected to retain as much of the original structure as possible.”

With the help of [au]workshop architects + urbanists, the WeldWerks team will flex their creative muscles to create a space that showcases their commitment to innovation and hospitality. The soon-to-be-named 1,300 square feet facility will include an outdoor beer garden and a second-story treehouse-inspired patio with incredible views. Much of the historic building, which was built in the 1900s, will retain the cozy and funky character of Old Colorado City with a WeldWerks flair.

“Colorado Springs is an outdoorsy town so we want to make sure we’re adding conveniences and considerations for this crowd in our beer garden,” said Kristin Popcheff, director of operations at WeldWerks.

Perks for outdoor enthusiasts will include a dog-friendly outdoor area, summer movies and lawn games. Outdoor areas will also include fire pits and patio heaters so beer drinkers can enjoy their libations outside all year-round. The brewery also plans to partner with local nonprofits and local businesses for beer dinners, fundraising events, and other collaborative events.

“The Dive had so much character and just speaks to us,” said Kristin Popcheff, director of operations at WeldWerks. “It’s certainly in need of a lot of love and TLC but we’re up for the challenge and see endless potential with this space.”

Details including the name of the Colorado Springs location and the date for WeldWerks’ grand opening party will be announced at a later time.

DURANGO, CO— It’s hard to top the first year of Ska Brewing’s Oktoberfest, with wins at prestigious beer competitions across the globe. Nevertheless cans of this world-class German-style Lager return to Ska’s World Headquarters for the season on Friday, August 2.

Ska brewed and canned a small batch of this craft lager for the first time in 2018, and it sold out in record time— well before Oktoberfest season was over. That first batch was honored with gold at the European Beer Star in the Vienna-Style Lager Category, silver at the Stockholm Beer & Whiskey Festival, and a gold medal at the Great American Beer Festival® in the Vienna-Style Lager category. “It’s an honor to receive these international recognitions as they’re a testament to the all-German ingredients we use, and the care that we take for our lagers,” says Ska Brewing Sales & Marketing Director Kristen Muraro.

Ska Oktoberfest is crafted with 100 percent German-sourced Munich and Vienna malts that impart nutty, bready, toasty flavors, all balanced by Noble hops. It finishes clean and crisp.

This year Ska brewed just a bit more Oktoberfest, hoping that the unfortunate souls who didn’t get to try it last year might have more luck this time around. Oktoberfest will tap at Ska’s World Headquarters on Friday, August 2 at 5pm. The Container Restaurant will serve house-made Bavarian-style soft pretzels with beer mustard, and pints of the beer will cost $4. Oktoberfest will be available in canned 6-packs across Ska’s distribution footprint while supplies last.

FORT COLLINS, CO —Purpose Brewing & Cellars is pulling out all the stops for a weekend-long, two-year anniversary bash at the brewery (4025 S Mason St Unit C, Fort Collins, CO 80525) on Saturday, August 3 from 2 – 9 p.m. and Sunday August 4 from 2 – 7 p.m.

“I have been floored by the amount of interest and willingness of Fort Collins beer drinkers to explore the wealth of beer dimensions that we can still create,” says Peter Bouckaert, co-owner at Purpose Brewing. “It’s not lost on me that they expect a lot out of us, which is why we’ve continued to push the boundaries of beer making.”

Live music will be provided by the eclectic, groovy tunes of JangleTHUMP on Saturday and the lyrical musings of CSU alum Nina Forsyth on Sunday. All weekend long, enjoy some of your favorite childhood games in oversized form including, Jenga, Bananagrams, Cup-Stack, Ring Toss and more. To celebrate two wonderful years in business, Purpose will be releasing brand new beers and some familiar favorites including their famed taco beer. Z Catering will provide a delicious menu for the weekend with food items that pair perfectly with the beer lineup for the weekend.

The midtown brewery, led by Frezi and Peter Bouckaert, former New Belgium Brewing brewmaster and storied sour beer maker, opened during the summer of 2017. Since then, the small but mighty brewery welcomed brewer Mike Hiatt, and has continued to elevate consumers’ palates near and far. From mushroom beers to barley wines, the brewery releases unique, rotating beers as well as an inspired Smoeltrekker sour every week. Smoeltrekker, which means “pulling a funny face” in Flemish is the brewery owners cheeky way of naming their sour beer program. Every sour is aptly named Smoeltrekker along with the barrel number in which the delicious liquid is housed.

“Two years young and we have barely unfolded our creative potential,” said Bouckaert. “We have so many barrels behind our bar that are just waiting to share their story and put Fort Collins on the map for outstanding sour beers.”

ABOUT SAISON

Belgian-Style Ale, 6.8%
With a recipe born from backyard test batches, the Saison that sits before you today is a GABF gold-medal winning beer. Heavily reliant on flavors and aromas generated by our house yeast, this beer exemplifies the care we take in every aspect of Funwkerks’ brewing process. Go ahead and delight in the Saison’s beautiful orange hue and bright effervescence. Notes of passion fruit, tangerine, and spices. Pairs well with high fives.

ABOUT TROPIC KING

Imperial Saison, 8.0% ABV
Originally designed to be a hoppier version of the brewery’s flagship Saison, the accidental (but fortuitous) addition of two extra bags of Munich malt balanced the hop creating this very unique Imperial Saison. Notes of passion fruit, mango, peach, ginger and pepper. Pairs well with hula hooping.

ABOUT WHITE

Belgian-Style Wheat Ale with Spices, 4.8%
Rooted in Belgian tradition, this refreshing wheat ale, or witbier, is our interpretation of a classic style. Its hazy pale color and creamy white head result from the ample amounts of wheat used in the recipe. The addition of raw oats contributes to a smooth mouthfeel while the Belgian yeast imparts a complex yet dry finish. Notes of orange zest and lemon with hints of spice. Pairs well with secret handshakes.

ABOUT RASPBERRY PROVINCIAL

Sour Ale Brewed with Raspberries, 4.2%
This delicious creation was truly a product of creativity, ingenuity, and luck. In the summer of 2013 Funkwerks took a test batch of their sessionable sour summer ale, Provincial, that didn’t quite hit gravity and decided to have some fun with it by adding a heavy dose of raspberries. The end result was so delicious, they ended up brewing it year-round. This delightfully tart fruit beer is refreshing, with a citrusy berry aroma which transitions to a subtly sweet and tart finish. Notes of lemon zest and tart raspberries.

ABOUT PINEAPPLE PROVINCIAL

Sour Ale Brewed with Pineapple, 4.2%
Pineapple Provincial is a tart, light-bodied, tropical beer with notes of lemon zest and pineapple that give the apricot and raspberry variants of the Provincial series a run for their money.

ABOUT RHUBERRY PROVINCIAL

Sour Ale Brewed with Strawberry and Rhubarb, 4.2%
Combines freshly picked rhubarb with bright, juicy strawberries to create a tart, fruity, and sessionable sour ale with rhubarb and strawberry. This beer is the pie-fect libation for any season. One sip and you’ll be transported back in time to your grandma’s porch swing while aromas of cooling pie waft around you in the warm breeze. Notes of ripe strawberries and tart rhubarb. Pairs well with cheek pinches.

ABOUT SAISON d’BRETT

Foudre-Aged Saison Ale with Brett, 7.6%
This crisp, dry, saison was aged for six months in Funkwerks’ 800-gallon oak foudre. The fruity aromas and spice flavors are derived from the brettanomyces and wild yeast previously inoculated inside the foudre. Warming flavors of ripened fruit and funky brett contribute to this beer’s bright complexity. Notes of fresh pineapple, tropical fruit, and wet hay.

Funkwerks’ beer is now available in select locations across Colorado, Arizona, Texas, Minnesota, Missouri, California, Nevada, Ohio, Kentucky, Chicago, New York City, New Jersey, and now Kansas.

ASHEVILLE, NC—Thirsty Monk was the proud recipient of two medals at the 2019 U.S. Open Beer Championship on July 9 in Oxford, Ohio. The brewery’s North Carolina location received back-to-back medals in the Belgian and French Ale category, taking home a silver medal for Abby Blonde and a bronze medal for Past Life, a Belgian-Style Amber Ale.

This is the second time Thirsty Monk has medaled at the U.S. Open Beer Championship; in 2018, the Denver brewery won a gold medal in the French/Belgian Ale category for Abby Blonde, and the brewery’s Asheville location took home silver for Screaming Monk Belgian IPA, in the American-Belgo-Style Ale category. Abby Blonde, which is named after brewery owner Barry Bialik’s daughter, also received its first GABF bronze medal last year.

“When I texted home that Abby Blonde had won another medal, the first question six-year-old Abby asked was Gold or Silver? I’m glad I didn’t have to tell her Bronze though I am super proud of our Bronze for Past Life Amber,” says Barry Bialik, Thirsty Monk CEO.

Abby Blonde is a classic Belgian-style Blonde Ale made with Franco-Belges Pilsner malt, wheat, and traditional sugar. Weighing in at 7.3% ABV, this slightly hazy, golden brew was fermented with Thirsty Monk’s in-house Belgian yeast strain, offering a plethora of flavors including banana and light clove.

Past Life Amber, inspired by Bialik’s legendary past life as a Monk and designed to be his partner Shelley’s “perfect beer,” comes in at an approachable 5.0% ABV. Past Life is a smooth, mellow and malty Belgian-inspired amber ale that welcomes entrancing notes of toasted bread, caramel and dried apricot, apple and pear followed by an earthy hop awakening.

“Brian and Chris, our brewers in Denver and Asheville, deserve major kudos for bringing home a medal from almost every competition we are entering. I’m proud of them and the entire Thirsty Monk team,” says Bialik.

Both beers are currently available at Thirsty Monk Asheville, Denver and Portland locations.

PONCHA SPRINGS, CO— Elevation Beer Co. has released a limited run of its Double IPA and its famed Mosaic IPA in cans will return this month. The brewery is also serving a variety of small batch IPA releases in its tasting room this summer.

Elevation created their popular Double IPA to showcase the diverse range of flavors and aromas different hop varieties can impart. Five different hops in seven additions during the brew give this beer all the characteristics that a hop head seeks. Citrus and tropical fruit notes, pepper and spice, all the way to pungent resinous pine, Elevation Double IPA pays homage to this ingredient and the culture it created and will be available across Colorado while supplies last.

Returning to cans for its second year, Mosaic IPA is a single hop ale brewed with solely with Mosaic hops to showcase their flavors of mango, pine, citrus, and herbs. Aromas of mango, lemon, and blueberry make this crowd-favorite IPA insanely juicy and a near-perfect showcase of this beloved variety. Mosaic IPA will be available as a limited release across Colorado in six packs of 12 ounce cans beginning July 29.

Also hitting Elevation’s tasting room taps this summer are a variety of other small batch hoppy beers, including Milkshake Duck and its mango-infused sister Mango Song.

Always available at Elevation and across Colorado, Wyoming, and Utah in canned 6-packs is the company’s flagship IPA, First Cast. Using nearly 2 pounds of hops per barrel, this well balanced IPA has huge notes of grapefruit, citrus, and pine.

GREELEY, CO—WeldWerks Brewing Company’s Juicy Bits was named in the 2019 Best Beers in America survey conducted by Zymurgy Magazine, the publication of the American Homebrewers Association (AHA). For the 17th consecutive year, the survey asked AHA members to nominate and vote on their favorite commercial beers available for purchase in the United States.

WeldWerks moved up from 17th to 12th place in the Top Ranked Breweries category, and Juicy Bits earned the #9 spot in the Top Ranked Beers category. This is the second year in a row the brewery has placed in this category, moving up one spot from #10 last year.

“Honestly, when Juicy Bits tied for 10th last year, I thought it must have been a mistake. We had been open for just over three years and we produced just less than 6,000 bbls in 2018, which made us the smallest and youngest brewery in the top 10 by a fair margin. Now in 2019, with Juicy Bits climbing a spot to number 9, I realize that it wasn’t our beer that I underestimated, it was our team. Every single employee here works tirelessly to make WeldWerks such a special place, and the way homebrewers and beer enthusiasts have latched on to our brand is a reflection of their dedication to excellence,” said Neil Fisher, Co-Owner and Head Brewer at WeldWerks Brewing Co.

Garnering national and local acclaim, WeldWerks’ version of the New England-style IPA features a huge citrus and tropical fruit hop character from the Mosaic, Citra, and El Dorado hops and a softer, smoother mouthfeel from the adjusted water chemistry, higher protein malts, and lower attenuation. The end result is a beer reminiscent of citrus juice with extra pulp.

“We are incredibly grateful for all of our customers who have supported us for over four years now, and we look forward to continuing to defy expectations!” said Fisher.

ABOUT LONE TREE BREWING COMPANY

Lone Tree Brewing Company was the first brewery in Lone Tree, Colorado that opened near Park Meadows Mall in 2011. The neighborhood-focused, family-friendly brewery and tasting room regularly hosts community events that gather around a stylistically diverse lineup of flagship, seasonal, and limited release beers. Lone Tree’s cans are sold across the state of Colorado, and in select locations in Kansas. Its draft beer is poured at many bars and restaurants in its distribution footprint as well. Find the brewery online at lonetreebrewingco.com.

ABOUT CANCERBLOWS

In 2013 43-year-old Dallas Symphony Orchestra trumpeter Ryan Anthony was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma, a terminal bone marrow cancer that typically appears in patients aged 70 and older. Ryan’s musical community rallied around him and when they offered support, he jokingly replied that “we’ll all play a concert when I am healthy again and we’ll call it ‘Cancer Blows’”. Ryan is now in remission, and the joke morphed into The Ryan Anthony Foundation, who in 2015 put on CancerBlows, a once-in-a-lifetime musical event bringing together the most famous trumpet players in the world. The event raised more than $1 million with all of the net proceeds donated to the Baylor Health Care Research Foundation and Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation that work toward a cure for cancer.

DURANGO, CO— The first of Ska Brewing and Peach Street Distillers’ Boomerang series beers, Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout Barrel No. 394, is now available at Animas Wine & Spirits. The beer, a 17% ABV Imperial Stout, was aged in a Peach Street Distillers whiskey barrel hand selected by the owners of Animas Wine & Spirits as part of the brewery and distillery’s new small-batch program.

The new Boomerang series is one more way for sister companies Ska Brewing and Peach Street Distillers to collaborate with one another. Within this series the companies plan to invite key accounts to choose their own barrels at Peach Street for which specialty beers will age, to be served exclusively for sale at each respective business. “This is a great opportunity to do something unique in the craft world, where people from both productions teams can collaborate on styles and flavors to match the barrel character to the beer they will be filled with,” says Peach Street Director of Sales Dustin LeMoine. “Buyers at exceptional liquor stores know their customers better than anyone, and with their input we can put together a program that combines craft interests from all over the palate, keeps things Colorado local from grain to glass (and shelf), and tastes pretty damn amazing… Why wouldn’t we?”

The first of the Boomerang Series beers is Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout Barrel No. 394, a 17% ABV Imperial Stout. This is the highest ABV beer that Ska Brewing has brewed in almost 24 years of business.

Currently in the works for the Boomerang program are a prickly pear sour ale in Peach Street Anjeo-aged Dagave Gold barrels, several twists on giant imperial stouts in various Whiskey barrels, an Imperial Maple Brown. “This is just the beginning,” LeMoine adds. “Ska Brewing and Peach Street Distillers are focused on elevating the game of barrel aging in Colorado.”

To learn more about Ska Brewing and Peach Street Distillers’ Boomerang program, contact Emily Hutto at coop@radcraftbeer.com.

ABOUT SKA BREWING
